Maguire is 6!!!

So this was the 2nd Star Wars party we had in just 2 short months. That's what happens when you have boys! I really need a girl! Maguire wanted the exact some food as Cade's party so it was pretty easy to recreate.

My brother-in-law AKA Darth Vader had the cutest shirts made for Maguire's party. The back says "Save Jabba a piece of Maguire's birthday cake!" Maguire and I made lightsabers for all his friends and they loved chasing Darth Vader through the yard!

My sister Leah and her husband Cotton dressed up again for the kids. These costumes were a huge hit. The Darth Vader mask had a voice box so he sounded pretty real.

It's a good thing that Maguire loves being 6 because that is it Maguire cannot have anymore birthdays! I am freezing him at 6. He is such a joy to have around our house. I wish I could clone him! He is the best 6 year old boy anyone could ever ask for! Happy last Birthday Maguire!

Maguire has always loved to dress up and is slowly converting Cade to the "darkside!" Cade is the best dying clone trooper!

USF Football Alumni

The football alumni thought it would be fun to have "old" USF football players play a flag football game during halftime of the USF spring game. Some of the guys got way into it. I forgot how much fun it was to watch Rj play. I think I miss it more than him! The boys really enjoyed watching their daddy score the only touchdown.

Rj is on the board for the USF football alumni and this year they rented out a bowling alley for graduated football players and there families. The kids had a lane to themselves and they loved it!

Cade is 3!!!!

When you have a big brother you grow up way to fast! Cade, like his older brother, loves Star Wars. I tried to talk him into a "Cars" birthday but that was a no go! This was his first friend party!

My sister and her husband are great sports dressing up as Han Solo and Asoka. The kids loved it!

This was my fancy food table. We had Jedi and Darth mix, Yoda Soda and Darth Malts. It was pretty yummy!

What's up with Rj's face?

Okay Rj will probably kill me for this but I had to share it! Rj and I were asked to play Mary and Joseph for our Stake Night in Bethlehem. We agreed and they asked Rj to grow a beard! So after a good 2 months of scratchy facial hair this was the night we had been waiting for when it was all over and he could shave that mess off! I thought it would be funny to see him in different facial styles so here it is.....

Leah got married......

So my sister married Cotton Lowe on Dec. 6, 2008. I introduced them back in January and they were engaged by September! I am thinking of taking up match making let me know if you need the hook up! HA!HA!

Okay so one Sunday afternoon I walked into our family room and happen to look out the window and see this....A BOBCAT! It was just on the other side of the lake/pond behind our house. These were the best pictures I could get by the time I found my camera! CRAZY HUH!?!?

Ok so I know I started this blog last year and never told anyone and that's because I did not quite know what I was doing! So my lovely sister-in-law (Kelsey) gave me a crash course this weekend and I am going to give it another shot!
